The time has come for that special man of the house, it’s Father’s Day! Treat dad to a lavish buffet at Melting Pot Café or special home-cooked dishes at Xin Cuisine. Concorde salutes all dads on these two special days, June 19 & 20, 2010.
Melting Pot Cafe Father’s Day Buffets Melting Pot’s two buffet attractions for weekend high tea and dinner buffets are not-to-be-missed! Chefs has carefully planned an enticing menu with tantalizing local and international fare.
The high tea buffet serves a wide selection of healthy greens and wonderful presentations of cold appertisers. Then, have some chicken pie, seafood farce in lemongrass skewer, crab masala, lamb chorizo, quiche lorraine, eight treasure chicken, grilled fish fillet with citrus butter, wanton noodles, fried carrot cake, mee goreng mamak and Shanghai chicken pau amongst others. Sweet temptations like chocolate mud cake, longan financier, tiramisu, assorted Nyonya kuih and waffle with assorted fillings ends the perfect father’s day meal.
For a bit of excitement where dad takes up the challenge… book the best seats in the house on Sunday afternoon as there will be exciting games, draws planned for dads. Our chefs will judge who takes the big prize in the best, creative sandwich making contest. Melting Pot’s buffet high-tea is priced at RM69.00++ per person.
A more extensive buffet dinner spread awaits diners. Endless choices to tempt your taste buds. Some of dishes worth being mentioned include fresh oysters and prawn galore served on ice, assorted sushi, sashimi, cod fish with mango and Thai sauce, eight treasure duck, roast rack of lamb with apricot chilli glaze, satay lilit, beef Wellington, mini Buddha jump over the wall, udang bakar percik, teppanyaki specials and mee Bandung. There are more offerings served at various live cooking stations. Buffet dinner is priced at RM95.00++ per person.

Homey Foods On Father’s Day Xin Cuisine Chinese Restaurant Chef Foong and team have whipped up two special 8-course set menus specially prepared with love for dearest Daddy on June 19 & 20.
Lobster salad with fresh fruits and two varieties of appetisers, braised shark’s fin soup with fresh scallop and crabmeat, roast crispy chicken with salad sauce, steamed tiger garoupa with superior soya sauce or pan-fried sea prawn, fried crispy lotus root with seasonal vegetable, steamed pomfret Xin style are among the highlights featured in Xin’s set menu. Available for lunch and dinner at RM838.00++ and RM1,088.00++ per table.
